Jerome Township Division of Fire
Established by the Board of Trustees in 1991 providing services to an area of over
36 square miles. The Fire Division provides fire and life safety protection, advanced life support, and hazardous materials response to area residents. Through a mutual agreement between Jerome and Millcreek Township, the Fire Division also provides services to the residents of Millcreek Township. Today 26 dedicated firefighter/paramedics serve on the front lines for the residents of the response area on a daily basis.
The Fire Division is funded through property taxes approved by the residents, EMS billing, contracts for services, and grants.
