Jerome Township, OH
Home MenuPlowing Information
Our Road Department works hard to keep our residents safe through snow and ice removal during the winter months. They continually watch weather conditions so they are prepared for when the snow falls. As of the winter of 2022, our Road Department is responsible for plowing 50.6 (straight line) miles of roadway.
Please remember as winter approaches to remove basketball hoops or other similar obstructions from the rights-of-way of public roads. This is helpful for efficient snow/ice removal and for the safety of the Road Department. It is also helpful if our residents will please remove cars from the roadway during any snow/ice event.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Township Hall at 614-873-4480.
Jerome Township's new salt barn was dedicated in December 2021

- Whenever possible, park all vehicles off the public rights-of-way roadways.
- Give snow plows adequate distance when driving near them.
- Do not pass a snowplow.
- Do not pile snow from driveways into the roads, pile this at the side of your driveway or in your yard.
